Cycle 3 Proposal Call Announcement

The DKIST Cycle 3 Proposal Call opened on May 15, 2024.

June 12, 2024: The DKIST Cycle 3 Proposal Call has closed.

Proposal Submission Deadline: June 12, 2024 (23:00 GMT)

The National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST) is pleased to solicit Proposals for Operations Commissioning Phase (OCP) Cycle 3 observations.

The OCP Cycle 3 observations will most likely take place during an approximately 10-month window between February and November 2025. During this window, the available on-sun time (i.e., the time available for observations) will continue to be limited and balanced against technical project needs.

Proposers are asked to carefully read and use the full description of the Call for Cycle 3 Proposals [PDF] for the planning and preparation of their Proposals.

Note: 05/17/2024: New version of the Proposal call pdf file (version 1.1)

Any dates may still change. Updates will be provided.
